Building the
next generation
of founders.
A student startup programme at BCU — structured, demanding, and built for students who mean it.
BCU Innovation Labs takes students from first idea to demo day through a series of workshops, mentorship sessions, and industry roundtables. This is the record of Cohort I.
BCU Innovation Labs is a structured startup programme for students at BCU. It exists because student entrepreneurs deserve more than a pitch competition and a handshake — they need a real, demanding path from raw idea to something worth backing.
Across nine workshops, participants develop their ideas, validate their assumptions, build their brands, and learn to pitch. Every session is built around a deliverable. There are no passengers.
The programme culminates in a Demo Day at Innovation Fest on 20 May at STEAMhouse — a live pitching session, startup expo, and celebration of everything Cohort I has built.
Every session begins with the problem, not the solution. We train participants to understand pain before they build anything.
You leave every session with something tangible. A validated concept. A brand framework. A pitch structure. Nothing is purely theoretical.
Speed and ambition matter. So does building with security, ethics, and user trust in mind from day one — not as an afterthought.
